You know that feeling?

You know that feeling when you were a kid and you played all day outside and you were tired, hungry, thirsty and covered in dirt, but you liked it?

You know that feeling when you think you might be coming down with something, but it's okay?

when you are up at 4 AM typing on a blog when you should be sleeping because you have school to teach in the morning and a garage full of sale items to sort for the fundraiser in the afternoon, and you realize the lesson will be taught for the day in the latter?

when you expect a niece and get a nephew and then expect another healthy niece and get a healthy niece with down-syndrome, and it's better?

when you really, really love your husband in spite of being married for 16 years ;)?

when you quit trying to be in charge of every detail of your life and let God, and you realize He actually does it better?

when you realize it truly is all God's money anyway?

when you know you've made mistakes or been unkind or just flat out wrong in some way in your most important relationships... mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend... and you are still in these relationships?

when you are afraid to do something, and you do it anyway?

when you have nothing but pure gratitude for the life you have?

You know that feeling?

Me too.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
