So, here we sit at #1.  The next girl to be referred is being referred to us.  Every time the phone rings, my heart jumps and one of the kids asks, "Is it our agency!?"  Planning, preparing, paper-work"ing" and it comes down to a phone call.

So, what happens when we get that call?  We get a packet of information with details about her - like medical records, birth records (if possible), pictures and any information they have gathered.  This information is usually shown to a pediatrician who deals with internationally adopted children for review.  That's all the long answer.  The short answer is, we say YES.

So, we are officially "accepting the referral" when we do this.  This means the ball begins to roll again, after 24+ months of not.  Most of the business will be out of our hands, but NOT out of our expense.

So, we are immediately responsible for the remainder of our international country fee.  After our SHOW HOPE grant, we will owe $3,735.00 when we accept the referral.

So, after all the support of family, friends and strangers... after the yard sales, bake sales, tshirts, cds, raffle tickets, donations and more... what could we possible ask??  How about share some more money?  It's just that simple.  If you'd like to purchase Barry's NOEL album, it's available here.  That goes to our adoption.  If you'd like to donate ANY amount of money, click the donate button to the right or I can get you our address.

We would LOVE to be able to accept that referral when the phone call comes and be prepared to cover the rest of our country fee.  (Of course, I fully expect for it to be provided at the very moment it is required.  It seems to be "a thing" between God and us ;).)
