I wasn't there

I wasn't there when when the walls of Jericho came down, but I know the power of the fall.

I wasn't there when Moses witness the parting of the sea, but I know the power of the wind.

I wasn't there when the angels sang to the shepherds, but I know the power of their voices.

I wasn't there when the Israelites were spared their first born sons, but I know the power of the passing.

I wasn't there when the ram was caught in the bush, but I know the power of the relief.

I wasn't there when the angel spoke to Mary, but I know the power of the promise.

I wasn't there when Jesus restored sight to the blind man, but I know the power of the light.

I wasn't there when the lame man was lowered into the house, but I know the power of will.

I wasn't there when Christ spoke to the thief, but I know the power of hope.

I wasn't there when God walked with Adam, but I know the power of presence.

I wasn't there when Lazarus walked out, but I know the power of birth.

I wasn't there when the boat was rocking, but I know the power of stillness.

I wasn't there then the sun was placed in the heavens, but I know the power of warmth.

I wasn't there when 5,000 and more were fed, but I know the power of sharing.

I wasn't there when the bush was burning, but I know the power of clear direction.

I wasn't there when the hem was touched, but I know the power of healing.

I wasn't there when the water became wine, but I know the power of transformation.

I wasn't there when the lions' mouths did not open, but I know the power of divine intervention.

How do I know?

Because you showed me so.
