grubby toes

I love little grubby toes. I love dirty little fingernails. I love the days when the kids are outside for hours and seem just caked with dirt by bath time. The bath water is a swirl of brown and bubbles. Each child has that grubby smell too. And then that delicious clean smell. I can't wait to see her little grubby toes... soak her in a bathtub full of bubbles... and smell her sweet clean smell.
