This does not seem possible, but twenty years ago I was 18 years old and a new freshman at Kentucky Christian College. I met friends right away.... friends I still have today and thanks to facebook, get to "see" regularly! A group of new students and friends decided to head out to Grayson State Park the first semester. It's a beautiful area. At some point, we all hiked down this slope to get to an abandoned train tunnel. I know - sounds crazy, but like 25 kids thought this was a great idea - so off we went! I realized I could not keep my footing and very boldly spoke up to the guy in front of me. I did not know him, but I said something like "hey - I know you don't know me, but will you hold my hand?" And a very sweet, young Barry Blair said yes. Thus began this family story. We spent many evenings walking around KCC making big plans. One of those plans: adoption. We didn't know when or how, but we knew it seemed part of God's calling. I'm so thankful for God's leading and His design in my family. I'm so grateful for my husband. The father of Charlotte. The father of George. The father of Esther.
Oh, you're making me mushy! So sweet! I'm so happy for you guys following God's calling. It'll be the most amazing journey of your lives!
